Membership
ISIS offers two types of memberships: Individual Membership and Institutional Membership. As a member of ISIS, you gain access to our services provided within our members’ area, which support your endeavors in investigating or utilizing concepts of information.
The services available include:
- Personal presentation page and access to presentations by other members.
- Prepublication and discussion of articles on our website.
- Presentation of articles on a public ISIS page.
- Participation in Special Interest Groups.
- Access to the ISIS archive.
- Participation in working groups for curricula of information studies.
Individual Membership
Individual Membership is tailored for scientists, students, industry professionals, and public institution members dealing with information or information theory. It’s also suitable for those who apply concepts of information in their work. As an IS4SI member, you’re invited to the general assembly and hold voting rights. The annual membership fee is USD 100, with the option for reduction upon individual request, such as for students. For inquiries regarding fee reduction, please contact the secretary general or any board member.
Institutional Membership
Institutional Membership is designed for research institutions, educational establishments, governmental or non-governmental organizations, and companies dealing with information handling and usage. As a representative of your institution and an institutional member of IS4SI, you’ll have voting rights and be invited to the general assembly. The annual institutional membership fee is USD 200.
Sponsoring Members
Sponsoring Members: Individuals or institutions interested in promoting research in information studies are encouraged to support us through sponsorship. Feel free to reach out to the secretary general or any board member for sponsorship inquiries.
